Staging is something I have passion, experience and a natural talent for. I like to work with people to determine what we can do with whatever budget and time restraints we may have, to ensure your home shows in it’s best light both online and in person. Sometimes it is challenging and hard to understand what will make the most impact, but I have a lot of experience in creating plans even when people have practically nothing to work with both time and budget wise.
Proper staging translates into dollars in your pocket. I see good homes everyday that are not selling because the seller isn’t sure how, or isn’t able, to stage the home. Staging is little things, and sometimes big things, that maximize your homes potential. It is using decor to highlight the most attractive features, and minimize the least attractive features, of your home. It is using scent and light to draw a buyer in.
Its all about a little ‘magic’ in the air when you do get a chance to shine. My eye for staging is an asset I can offer my clients, that not all agents can offer. I will do a walk-through evaluation with you and provide suggestions for making a buyer want to buy your house. As an agent I spend a lot of time walking through homes and really listening to what potential buyers are saying, and that has given me insight into how they see things.I can show you how to encourage them to start to envision their furniture in the rooms, their kids playing in the yard. As the owner, some suggestions may be a bit hard to understand, but if you know that it is all leading towards the end goal, of seeing that SOLD sign in the yard, it can be easier to get through. Buyers usually form an opinion of your house in seconds. It is crucial to send the right message quickly.
No one expects you to know how to stand out, and be the one a buyer will choose over all of the other options. You just need to know how to choose, and trust, the right agent.
